Here at Chouinard we offer a limited number of rentals during the warm weather months for our customers who are looking for a reception/wedding site in a beautiful vineyard and woodland setting. Since we are not a regular wedding facility, couples and their families may create their own very personalized celebration. The number of guests is usually between 30 and 125 although larger groups may be accommodated if group transport is provided.
Ceremony can be performed adjacent to our vineyard under a vine covered arbor. We can help with Music and Food and of course Wine.

Expenses:
Q. What is the charge for renting the winery picnic grounds for a reception?
A. The standard rental fee is $1,500 plus $5.00 per guest. Fifty-percent is due at the time of booking. A $200 damage/clean-up fee is due prior to the event. This fee is returned seven days after the reception if the site is left in good/clean condition.
Q. What does the charge cover?
A. This fee covers a four-hour event. One hour before and after the event is allowed for set-up and clean-up unless other arrangements are made. Any unscheduled additional site rental hours are charged at $400/hr.
Q. Can wedding ceremonies also be booked?
A.
The standard charge for a ceremony site is an additional $200/minimum for a one-hour service. Ceremonies without receptions can be booked for $400 for a one-hour service during winery closed hours only.
Beverages, Catering, Wedding Cakes, and Table Settings:
Q. What are the beverage arrangements?
A. There is a minimum two-case wine order requirement. Cases of wine or champagne may be mixed in any combination and any unused wine is returned to you. We would be happy to offer recommendations and assist with calculating wine usage estimates. We can help with food, desserts, professional and personalized cakes.

Receptions and Weddings:
Q. Can the winery recommend a pastry chef?
A.
The winery can provide you with the names of pastry chefs in the area or you may use your own bakery. If desired, arrangements may be made with the caterer to cut and serve the cake and pour your champagne toast.
Q. How about Table Service?
A.
Table Linens are generally provided by the caterer although, white table linens are sometimes available for rental from the winery for smaller weddings ($3.00 each). Wine glasses may be rented through the winery at $4.00 per dozen. Personal wedding logo glasses may also be special ordered if adequate scheduling is set up.
Music:
Q. Can the winery help with music referrals?
A.
The winery used individual musicians and bands frequently during the year so our music coordinator can refer you to excellent musicians in our area. The county requires that music must not exceed certain sound levels and must end no later than 9:30 pm.
Q. Can the winery help with music Photography or Flowers?
A. The winery will be happy to work with the vendors you choose, or the winery can recommend local photograpers in our area. We do not charge a fee for use of the grounds for photo shoots during the rented hours. The grounds have abundant natural greenery, vineyards and flowers within a tree covered canyon so minimal decoration is usually required. Set-up time can be arranged as needed No balloons are permitted.
Q. How is the parking handled?
A.
During winery hours, maximum parking space is 30 cars. During winery-closed hours the maximum is 55 cars. No roadside parking on Palomares Road is permitted. As required, you may wish to arrange for limos or vans. Parking attendant(s) are required depending on the size of the wedding. The charge for local attendants is $20 per hour/per attendant.
