Chardonnay 2009
Livermore
We've been searching for a good source of Chardonnay and we found it locally at Sblendaria Estates. This is a small vineyard and Sblend put a lot of care into producing quality fruit. The vintage is the product of cold fermentation, oak aging and a secondary malolactic fermentation. The finished wine combines oak, vanilla and butterscotch flavors and aromas in a Chardonnay with a creamy and full mouth feel and lasting finish. $199.80/case

Barbera Rose 2010

In 2007 when we first produced Barbera as a red wine, I was so impressed by the fruit and acididty of the wine that I thought "This will make a great Rose" Judge for yourself. But only try it if a refreshing tart off-dry wine with the flavor and color of cranberries appeals. $172.80/case

Chenin Blanc 2009

This lovely wine was cold-fermented in stainless steel to accentuate and preserve the fresh, flinty pear and white peach fruit characteristics. This vineyard has produced many award winning wines including a best of show at San Francisco International in 2006. This year's wine is as refreshingly tart, well-balanced and mouthwatering.

MJ's Cuvee Chouinard Red Wine Our latest red table wine is one quarter Barbara, one quarter Petite Sirah with the remainder blend Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Malbec. Subtle toast and oak flavors result from aging in small American Oak Barrels.

The New Release is an excellent example of the potential of this wine, Deep color is a given with Alicante, but the 2006 vintage is very complex, concentrated concentrated and rich. Berry and grenadine flavors mingle with oak, toast and minty undertones. $191.70/case $17.75/btl

Granny Smith Apple Wine Crisp and delicious made from 100% Green Granny Smith Apples. The Granny variety has a unique flavor and healthy acidity to produce a crisp, fresh and delightfully fruity wine. Our processing is entirely in Stainless Steel tanks and cold fermentation is geared to accentuating and maintaining varietal character. The wine is lightly sweetened by the addition of fresh juice just prior to bottling. This adds sweetness but most importantly fresh Granny Smith flavors
