We've been searching for a good source of Chardonnay and we found it locally at Sblendario Estates. This is a small vineyard and Sblend put a lot of care into producing quality fruit. The vintage
is the product of cold fermentation, oak aging and a secondary malolactic
fermentation. The finished wine combines oak, vanilla and butterscotch flavors
and aromas in a Chardonnay with a creamy and full mouth feel and lasting finish. |

This lovely wine was cold-fermented in stainless steel to accentuate and preserve the fresh, flinty pear and white peach fruit characteristics. This vineyard has produced many award winning wines including a best of show at San Francisco International in 2006. This year's wine is as refreshingly tart, well-balanced and mouthwatering.
